online and phone ordering system. They are no longer selling the game.
Baseball Mogul 99 continues the Baseball Mogul dynasty. Just like Mogul 1,
Mogul 99 is an addictive baseball franchise simulator. You assume the role of both General Manager and Manager
for a professional baseball team of your choice. You start in the Spring of 1998 with a 25 player roster and about
25 more AAA (minor league) players. All of these are the real players with real stats from your city's team.
In your role as Manager, you set the starting defense, batting order and pitching rotation for your team. You choose
who stays in the big leagues, who gets sent down to the minors, and who gets released altogether. As General Manager,
you craft complex trades and sign multi-million dollar players, competing with artificially intelligent player
agents and general managers. Baseball Mogul 99 features greatly improved AI, providing hours more of challenge.
You also get to control all the finances of your team, from setting the price of a ticket or a hot dog to allocating
funds to your farm system, scouts and medical staff.

into training
- Make trades, or accept trades proposed by the computer
- Hire and release players
- Sign free agents
- Budget for scouting, farms and medical staff
- Determine ticket prices, concessions and advertising contracts
Make your choices game by game, or run the computer for an entire season and play for years - even decades! Watch
your team rise and fall in the standings and read the news stories to find out the latest news on your own team,
and the competition.
You can monitor your progress in a variety of ways:
- Scouting reports give detailed information on each player on your team,
and on all other teams
- News stories detail games and league events, such as player awards,
retirements, Hall of Fame inductions and trades
- The financial page lets you compare your revenue with that of other
teams in both leagues - stay profitable if you want to create a lasting dynasty!
- Play by play and box scores are available for each game detailed in
the new stories.
Baseball Mogul features true color high resolution art, and an easy to
use Windows(r)95 interface. Video
